Bishop Donahue High School is a mission of the Roman Catholic Church. The school is administered by dedicated laymen and laywomen and religious of other congregations who adhere to the Marist Tradition. This mission emanates from a belief in the fundamental precepts of the Gospel and aims to proclaim and give witness to the Gospel. This mission is marked by the charism of the founder of the Marist Brothers, Saint Marcellin Champagnat, namely: simplicity, family spirit, love of work, and devotion to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Bishop Donahue seeks to cooperate with families as they strive to fulfill the responsibility given to them by the Church, specifically the Christian education of their children.

By design, Bishop Donahue is a coed college preparatory Catholic high school. As such, it recognizes its responsibility for the spiritual and intellectual development of its students. The educational process is enhanced by programs that provide for the students’ moral, affective, social, and physical formation. Religious activities and courses of study demonstrate the dedication of Bishop Donahue to the announcement of the Good News that Jesus Christ is Lord.
