The Bishop Donahue class of 1965 held its 50 year reunion the weekend of August 21-23, 2015. An ice breaker was held at Walt’s (owned by a class member) in Moundsville on Friday Night with over 20 classmates attending. On Saturday night, the Moundsville Country Club hosted a dinner for 30 of the graduates and their spouses. A table containing pictures of the 5 departed members of the class was prominently displayed and a moment of reflection was held in their honor. Sunday morning consisted of Mass at St. James in which members of the class participated as lector, gift bearers and Eucharistic minister. This was followed by a brunch held in the cafeteria. Mr. Tom Wise, B.D. Principal, was then presented with a donation from the class of 65 of over $1,200. In addition, 2 plaques were purchased for inclusion on the Bishop Donahue “Wall Of Support”. These plaques are from the Class of 1965 and in memory of the deceased members of this class. Mr. Wise then conducted a tour of the school so that all could see the changes that have taken place in the past 50 years.
