Shoebox Santa Service Project 2015

Shoebox Santa ProjectThe students and staff of Bishop Donahue are once again gearing up for the Shoebox Santa gift drive.  Unfortunately, many adults throughout West Virginia are in need of personal hygiene and small gift items, which are often unaffordable or unavailable through food stamps and other public assistance programs. Appalachian Outreach, our partner in this endeavor, delivers these items to individuals in need as part of the Shoebox Santa program every Christmas season. We ask all our B.D.H.S. families to participate in this gift giving program.  Please make your donation by Nov. 25, 2015.

We suggest the following items for a Shoebox Santa:

Soap (bar or liquid) Shampoo Deodorant
Toothbrush & Toothpaste Denture cleaner and adhesive Mouthwash
Dental Floss Razors and blades Nail clippers
Shaving Cream Aftershave Tweezers
Corn plasters Hand lotion Body lotion
