Cheyanne with her parents, Dave and Shelly Reinbeau. Mrs. Granato and Mrs. Metz,(Religion Dept.) and Mr. Wise also attended the celebration.

Congratulations to B.D. senior Cheyanne Reinbeau who received the Aquinas Medal at the Bishop’s Cross dinner in Morgantown yesterday.  The Aquinas Medal is the highest award a student can receive from the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. Through the Aquinas award, the diocese recognizes one student from each school for their outstanding qualities of faithful discipleship, academic excellence, leadership, and service to their school, parish and community. The award reflects the ideals of Catholic education epitomized by St. Thomas Aquinas, the Catholic patron saint of students.

We also offer our congratulations to our local 8th grade Aquinas Medal winners… Danielle Ferrera (SS. James and John), Noah Martinez (Our Lady of Peace), Will Kent (St. Vincent de Paul), Emma Magruder (St. Michael’s) and Baron Vogrin (Corpus Christi).
