Bishop Donahue and Wheeling Jesuit University held an International Culture Assembly at B.D.H.S. on April 1. The assembly included W.J.U. students from Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Mr. Taras Strutynsky, Global Student Services Specialist at Wheeling Jesuit University was instrumental in bringing our schools together. Each W.J.U. student made a presentation about their country and then took questions from B.D. students. Taras, a Ukraine native, also presented information about the recent annexation of Crimea by Russia. Thanks to our friends at Wheeling Jesuit for a great cultural exchange.
